Stage 8: Regular F.i.r.e

Regular F.I.R.E is often what most people would define as financial independence. This stage will allow live how you would if you had the same income as a regular full time job but without the requirement to actively work. You may be able to afford small luxuries and maybe a holiday or two per year although you will still need to avoid over spending and lifestyle inflation.

Many people may choose to stop here as your investments will continue to grow on their own and it provides a comfortable life with all the free time to spend with family and friends. If you choose to continue to grow and scale your portfolio you will reach Stage 9: Fat F.I.R.E.

If you choose to continue growing your investments  this would be the time to expand your team if you haven't already.  As your wealth grows your ability to control every part of your investments on your own will shrink and you will need to rely on your team to grow and develop.
