Stage 5: Coast F.i.r.e

Coast F.I.R.E is the first stage of financial independence although this stage will not allow you to retire early. the purpose of this stage is that even if you were to stop contributing, your investments would grow and allow you to live off them at standard retirement age.

The goal in this stage is to decide what you want the years before retirement to look like. You can choose a job you like and continue to work until retirement or you can keep investing to reach stage 6: Barista F.I.R.E

During this stage the main priority is job growth or job development. as you decide if you want to aim for early retirement or to choose a fulfilling career.
